Dagnabbit!
I took off work today...Wesson isn't feeling well.
His eyes got really gunky on Saturday and all day Sunday...not pink eye though... (Kala I'm blaming you on this one!)
This morning, his eyes were completely glued shut. It took me a half hour with a warm washcloth to get them uncrusted and able to open (eyes watering right now).
He was whiny, warm, tired...and I just couldn't bring myself to take him to daycare.
I called the doc. Apparently I fucked up Southern speaking and misheard 2:15 when it was 10:15. They squeezed us in anyway. Ear infection, 2 eye infections caused by a sinus infection, and he's cutting teeth. Eye drops for a one year old, and antibiotics for the ear.
So then, I have an unpaid balance with Tricare! Yay! Not.
Apparently, they only covered 90-some bucks and we owe 120-somethin'. We have Prime, we've had the same dr for a year... This is only his third appointment this year...not that I think that'd have anything to do with it...but WHAT. THE. FUCK. So now I have to call Tricare and sit on hold forever. I have a fucking debt collector calling me about a stupid bill from Wakemed, from when I gave BIRTH to Wesson...they can go pound sand right now for their stupid $50. Ummm, I haven't paid Jon's stupid ticket yet and he refuses to go to court to try and get it lowered. Whatever.
I have a sore throat and the dog peed in the crate today.
OH. And fruit flies have found their way into my home and there is NOTHING for those bastards to eat. So I don't know why they're here.

Sorry Jeannette, the eye thing is NOT my fault.

Re: Dagnabbit!
I know it's not your fault. It's sorta funny though. You just got over your eye problems! When I took him into daycare today and explained the situation, apparently some other kids had the "same symptoms".
I'm looking at a new daycare at lunch today. Fingers crossed.

Re: Dagnabbit!
Get him out of that daycare lol
Brad and Natalee are HORRIBLY sick . . .
Sore throat, running noses, headache
So far Brayden and I are fine.
I just keep telling myself, I will NOT get sick

Re: Dagnabbit!
Well sounds like a fun day! (Don't go dissing the Southern Accents...I can't understand a THING any one from up North says! So it goes both ways ) Hopefully Wesson will start feeling better. Thats just the thing about daycare whatever one kid has everyone has. It doesn't really matter what daycare you take him to kwim? Unless they aren't taking care of him like they should then of course I wouldn't be taking him there. But if your just changing to see if he won't be as sick...its not likely Thats the one huge negative about daycare!
Hopefully all will settle down for you soon!

Ya he has been bit 3 times by some kid, he got his head busted on a seesaw, he's always getting scratched. The director tells me it's because the kids that age are trying to find ways to express themselves.
I've had enough. I'm checking one out tonight. Fingers crossed! They're a 3-star and cheaper too!

Re: Dagnabbit!
He is great with kids . . .
He was hinting that it was alright if we accidentally had another one lol
That would be after we move down there.
I'm not moving cross country with a new born

Get that checked out!
Eyes are nothing to mess with.
Wesson's was not pink eye, but you could tell something was wrong
Poor little guy!!!

Re: Dagnabbit!
Do you have anything else wrong Kala?
The Dr. said it was sinuses. He had the runny nose to accompany it...
We got antibiotic eye drops.

Re: Dagnabbit!
Yaaaaa...I did them last night and this morning. I laid him down and had him drink a bottle...I got them in the corners of his eyes close to his nose so it would seep in...at least I hope.
They looked much better this morning.

Re: Dagnabbit!
Talking about eyes make mine water.
I wear contacts but even that at times weirds me out. Especially when you get a contact stuck in your eyelid.
You shuddering yet?

Re: Dagnabbit!
knock on wood that has never happened.
I wear my contacts for a month and then take them out for one night.
It used to take me almost an hour an eye to get those babies in!

Re: Dagnabbit!
You wear them for a month??!?!
I take them out every night. If I don't, and accidentally fall asleep, I'll be in the bathroom for 15 minutes trying to peel them out of my eyes.
I have to give a day's rest typically on the weekends with no contacts. My eyes dry out and get gross if I have them in all day everyday.

Re: Dagnabbit!
My prescription has been expired for like a year and I have a years' worth + of contacts so I'm going to use them up before I go again.
Re: Dagnabbit!
I have had sinus drainage for the past 2 weeks. It's awful. I'm guessing that's the cause.
