Stupid Milwaukee

So my dad calls me frantic last night. Just an hour before, he was at an Italian Festival downtown enjoying life and talking about how nice it was. Fast forward and he's standing by his car (parked downtown), windows are all smashed out, and his dash is yanked apart. They failed at getting his radio, but still.

I fucking hate that place!

In 6 years, my car has been broken into TWICE, his car ONCE, and our house ONCE.

There is NOTHING I miss about that place. NOTHING. God I am so pissed off. I wanted to go beat someone's ass last night. Now my dad has ANOTHER inconvenience. Why does crap ALWAYS happen to our family.

I want to deck someone right now.

Poor daddy. Will insurance cover that?? [silly question]

Too hard. He's been wanting to move for years but my sister is too lazy, his gf is on again off again with her job, and my dad has too much shit to just pack up and leave. He's making it difficult because I don't think he knows HOW to move... He'd have to walk away from the house (it's in bad shape), get a new VA...it's just too hard and complicated...for him. For me, I'd pack up and leave tomorrow. He's not so easy with it. Which I don't understand why.

I have jokingly (but seriously) told him that when his ass gets too old, he's moving down by me, I'm not moving there.
