I really want to ask Chris if we can get rid of her. I can hardly deal with her with just Connor, there is no way I will be able to handle her when the baby comes. I have a cousin who is in his 30s and special needs who's husky just had to be put down after about 15 years. He would love another husky. I just dont know how to bring it up to Chris. Even thinking about it I feel like the shittiest wife ever. He's so freaking stubborn. He just won't see how much fucking stress it is on me.

The best thing you can do is just try and talk to him about it.

Yesterday she got out again. I followed her (not chase because she would have just run faster) around all of the buildings and through the neighborhood. I fell hard on my ass trying to catch her and tore my big toe to pieces. I can hardly walk on that foot. This was after spending all day at the clinic because of spotting just for me to be told everything looked fine and to go home. I am so pissed at this dog. She shat all over the house again right after I took her out. The neighbor kids love her. If their mom would let them have a dog I would give her to them in a heartbeat. Grrrr... I wanna cry...

Will the parents of the neighborhood kids let them just watch the dog until Chris gets home? Maybe if you paid them a little bit? Money always helps to sweeten any deal!

Jon and I went through the same thing with Gunny. Sadly, I'm a soft ass that watched "
Marley and Me" one too many times and he's still here.

Is there a reason why she's pooping in the house? Gunny actually had a medical problem that was causing his issues.

It's hard as hell to balance a child and dog, but once you get into a routine, it's not so bad. Potty in the am, afternoon, evening...maybe a walk... It'd help tucker both Connor and the dog out. Husky's need to RUNNNNNNN. They need a park or lots of walks. I walk our lab twice a day or else he gets fidgety and destructive in the house.

If all else fails, and you really want to get rid of the dog...just say it. I remember the fights I had with Jon about Gunny. It's rough, and it may be "his" dog...but right now you're the one dealing with it. Either get rid of him or temporarily re-home.

I know they need to run and thats why i didnt want the damn dog in the first place. Then he agreed to moving out of this shit hole into a house with a yard. Then he came home with the dog. Now he doesn't want me to move because we have friends close by here. Everyone keeps telling me that she's shitting and pissing all over the place because Chris is gone but she did it when he was here just as much if not more. Only if I leave the room she's in does she do it. I don't think its medical because she does go outside too. But right now we don't have the money to take her to the vet for it. I'm even wanting to get rid of the cat because I want to be able to save as much as possible before "it" comes.

I know what you mean about the walks tiring out the dog and Connor and we did that for a while. It was nice. But recently my asthma has been so bad its hard just to walk to the apartment (I know I need to talk to the doctor again). And the neighbors already have full enough houses. The kids that LOVE the dog are in a 2 bedroom apartment with 5 people.

I am hoping that my aunt and Uncle will take her and take her early but I feel bad asking because they have their own lives. We'll see. I'm telling him tonight that I can't handle her and if they can't keep her we have to get rid of her. I just hate doing it because he's deployed. But we wouldn't have the problem if he wasn't
