Wow So effing frustrated

Post by LaDonna on Tue Dec 14, 2010 10:04 am

I just do not understand why some people don't get it...... I have a hard time understanding why their common sense doesn't kick in.

My co-worker never seems to do anything right. I don't know why.... does she just not care? or does she really just not "get" it???

So we have this MAJOR job to do this day... one of the owners' scheduled it.... so we had extensive conversations yesterday about it's importance. Apparently the technician assigned to the job calls in sick to her because she is his dispatcher. The problem is, she doesn't get to work until after 8:30 am, the job was supposed to start at 8:00 am on the dot, and SHE DIDN'T CALL ANYONE AT THE OFFICE TO LET THEM KNOW. So the customer wasn't called, he was left standing by for 30 friggin' minutes....

Banghead

I mean I really really really am having trouble understanding this girl.... and why she didn't think it was important to call..... this is only 1 of about 30 friggin mistakes she has made of the same magnitude involving the same ignorance....

What do you do??? you can't teach someone common sense..... I'm not trying to be mean I really am not.... but I just don't see how to get through to her.

I'd rip her a new one if you're the person in charge to do it.

Customer's come first, that's how a company makes its' money. It is NOT acceptable for them to be waiting outside for a tech that never shows.

She needs to be made fully aware that if the job was to start at 8:00am, and she wasn't going to get in until 8:30, shouldn't she have called to tell someone?!

Agh.

I'm soooooo pissed. She apologizes but honestly.... it keeps happening so unless you learn from your mistakes, apologies don't keep the customers happy, you know what I mean?

Customers don't care about apologies unless it's your first day.

If she doesn't have that much passion for her job, let her know that there are plenty unemployed people out there that would LOVE to fill her shoes!

Which is exactly the way I feel...... if you aren't grateful and appreciative for your position we can find someone else who is..... everyone is LUCKY to have a job right now..... EVERYONE.
