How was everyone's 4th!

Wellllllll?

We went and saw fireworks at a local park on Sunday. They were AWESOME. For a little town, it was a hell of a show. The boys fell asleep and Allison sat up in my friend's lap and just jolted her eyes left and right at all the big sparkly fireworks.

Yesterday, Hope and her hubby came over and we grilled out with burgers and hotdogs. Then he made us Pina Colada's and I had a blackberry pie he made with blackberries from their backyard! I never had blackberry pie. Ohhhhh man that's good stuff.

After they left, I sat out on the porch with Wesson and lit some sparklers and morning glory's. Then my neighbor had some hardcore, "park-style" fireworks that he lit off. They were HUGE. So we sat out and watched them, then it started raining and we went to bed!

Now...I'm tired.

Our's was okay. We kinda celebrated Sunday, I guess. We went swimming all evening and then went and watched the fireworks. Our city has had a sad display every year for as long as I can remember. . . Next year we're going to Boston! We have some friends from Wes' old unit who like 15 minutes away, so we're going to stay with them

Sweet! How far is Boston from you guys? I want to check out Bahston. Man, I need to go watch "The Town" now.

I think it's only 6 hours away!

DB and I went for a walk around his neighborhood. I hung out with a wife of one of DB's coworkers... I've no idea what her name is. She had a 11.5 month old and that girl is a happy baby, staring at everyone. We saw a country band play, then the Tops in Blue perform after DB and her DH did a flag drop. The fireworks display here at DB's was awesome! Kala, Boston sounds very fun. Jeannette, I'm jealous that you had blackberry pie and got to hang out with Hope & her hubby.

I got pictures that I'll post when I get home tonight. She had Ryler too. He's so big!!!

Aww... I'm missing out on all of the babies.
