how to deal with a 15 month old biter ??? maddie keeps biting and i dont know how to stop it, she mostly just bites kenzie but she will bite me and my mom sometimes.

I'm not really sure what your parenting style is, but I always did a combo of a really sharp no, a minute long time out, saying it hurts me, maybe a smack on the hand (mostly to get attention) and eventually she grew out of it. I'm not really sure any of it worked. I know my cousin had some success with giving her son lemon juice if he bit something. So that may work.

I bit back. I mean...I did that only if it was a "Hey, I'm mad and going to fricken bite you" kind of thing. For teething, I just jammed a teething ring in their mouth. Mason bit me today but he's cutting molars and is really pissed off about it.

Someone told me if you over exaggerate crying like it really genuinely hurt mommy when you did it, that it makes a HUGE impact on young kids.

she mostly only bites kenzie when shes pissed that she took something from her and kenzie screams, usually i just give a stern no and sometimes a tap on the hand but it doesnt seem to be working :/

Try the biting and guilt tactics. I've used those too.

That stinks Kelly! Hope she grows out of it fast! I am a time out momma. I do a minute for how old she is, so she is up to 4 minutes now. That can be a long 4 minutes! Lol!
