Isn't it though. I just don't understand how someone could want to go shoot up innocent people!! (or anyone for that matter)

It's scary what is going on in the world, and what we are raising our children in...

Local police revised the death toll in the incident from 14 to 12 on Friday morning, with the number of wounded revised from 50 to 38. The range of those hurt in the incident spanned a 3-month-old baby, who was said to be in good condition, to children aged six and up, teenagers and adults up to 45 years old.

My question, among many others, why was there a 3 month old baby at a midnight showing in the theater... even 6 year olds?

I really want to homeschool. My husband won't let me. I just want to move out to a farm and raise my own animals and grow my own food and not leave! People are crazy!

If we move again I'm homeschooling for sure...
My entire family on my dad's side homeschools.
I was homeschooled for high school.

I would totally homeschool Ms K. Wes and I disagree on the topic though, so it more than likely won't happen Sad

That's what it's coming down to now... sex and drugs in Middle School. Sad to say even some in High School. Two kids at Brayden's school (5th Graders) got caught having sex in the bathroom at after school care. SMH

That is horrible!

I think if I worked nights I could maybe talk my husband into it. Maybe. Probably really stretching it though. He is just so sure she would become antisocial. I don't think it would be a huge deal. My friend home schools and get kids are always doing things with their friends.

It depends on the amount of "outside" activities you allow them to do as well. In NC they have a ton of programs for homeschooled children. It all just depends.

I dunno. It was relatively near us, but I'm tired of it. Everyone has a theory on why it happened or has been pointing fingers so much in the past 24 hours that it's just damn ridiculous. A crazy guy acted upon his craziness. It's not that he was influenced by gays, the liberal/conservative media (depending upon who they want to blame), Congress didn't tell him to do it, it's not because his parents were shitty, the heat or lack thereof... That type of reaction really reminds me of some more crazies that thing soldiers are dying because we as a country are sinning. Seriously? Can't people just be crazy anymore?

Then you get the people that latch on to things they disapprove of. I deleted about 20 people off my Facebook yesterday for posting about how parents that took their kids to the theater were unfit/deserved it/blahblahblah. Really? It's a record,large-scale mass shooting... A tragedy... So that's what you want to focus on? Get some perspective and maybe an effing life.
