What is the largest
priority mail box you can get. I have the 12” x 12” x 5-1/2”....do they make anything bigger?
I have a liquids and food I'm sending my SO...maybe I should separate the liquids from the food and send him two boxes...
I'd hate to send two because I very much doubt he'd get them at the same time...
Any input/ideas would be greatly appreciated ladies!

I've sent boxes bigger than that, but I bought them at Walmart. They have gigantic cardboard boxes there.

How expensive were the boxes you picked up at walmart?
If you dont mind me asking, what was the most you spent on shipping?

It was a while ago....I want to say it was around $5 for the box, and somewhere between $30 and $40 for shipping. That was the biggest box I ever sent....it was gigantic.

Re: What is the largest
There was a ton of stuff in there. A big heavy blanket, snacks, shampoo and stuff, and some of the self heating hot cocoa's they sell at Walmart (which are really good by the way).
I'm glad I could help!

That website explains how it works. It's really neat, and they taste really good! They're expensive though...like $2.50 or $3 a pop.

That's the largest flat rate box. Depending on how heavy the stuff is that you're sending, it's probably better to do it in 2 flat rate boxes versus one larger box that you pay by the pound. If you're sending light stuff, the large box will be fine, and you can get those at wal-mart, the post office, any shipping place, Staples or Office Depot.
He actually may get them at the same time, since usually they only get mail every few days at the most, they'll likely be waiting together, but who knows, stranger things have happened.

I always used flat rate boxes. Those hot chocolate things that Tammy is talking about are awesome. I sent them to DH as well...and I always bought myself one or two or three as well!

Both boxes will be pretty heavy. One will have nothing but smart water, energy drinks, fruit cups and those tiny tuna cans.
I think I will send two boxes out at once and keep my fingers crossed that he gets them at the same time.
Thanks so much for your help hun!

I'll have to try them! They were sold out on that website but I will check out wal-mart! Do you get them in the coffee isle?

I always used the large flat rate boxes. If I sent out two at the same time they usually arrived to him at the same time. Wes was in Afghanistan though, so it may be different since he's on ship.

Re: What is the largest
Just curious, but does anyone's SO that's on a MEU know if they are getting their mail at all? Mine told me a lot of things were kind of not planned well so he said to wait on sending a care package...just wondering. I'm gonna wait a little bit, and although his Valentine's stuff won't get there in time if I do wait...eh, I'd rather it get there in general!

I know that Jeannette's husband said not to send much because they didn't have a place to put it. As far as if they are getting their mail I have no idea. Hopefully Jeannette will be able to give you a answer!
