The hitting!
Does it stop? Is this just something new that he learned and it'll fade? Because I thought not...and when I popped his hand, he looked at me and laughed.
I died laughing this morning. Wesson was at Daycare and was playing with a toy. This 1 year old comes up and tried taking the toy...Wesson kept smacking him until he let go. You should have seen the look on this kids' face. My kid will rule the playground.

Re: The hitting!
I don't know Reese never hit. So I can't tell you if it will pass. It is probably something he picked up from daycare. But you have to be tough at daycare if not you get taken advantage of and all your toys taken away.!

Re: The hitting!
Trust me...with Jon and I as Wesson's parents...I can already see myself going to the principal's office in kindergarten because Wesson beat someone up.
He'll be knife-handing everyone. He's totally his father's son.

Jeannette...remember beating kids up isn't a good thing
Just tell him he isn't supposed to start the fight but if the other kids starts it he'd better finish it ! (Thats what my mom always told us. )

Oh I know. He's only going to beat them up AFTER the other kid lips off.
My mom always told me to let them throw the first punch...then deck em'.

Re: The hitting!
I had an issue with Brayden hitting in daycare . . .
To the point where he almost got kicked out.
I had to take him in front of his entire class and explain to him that hitting his friends hurts them and makes them cry.
He then felt so bad he cried in front of everyone. It was probably the worst feeling I had ever felt, BUT after that day no more hitting. At that point in life, being a single parent, I had no other options. I could not afford to have him kicked out of daycare, and have to go through the hassle of finding another one.

Yep. My brother got in a fight in the football locker room the kid (which was one of his best friends) was going around hitting everyone in the elbow and thought it was so funny so Butch told him to stop and he did it again so my brother turned around and punched him in the face. He said the kid turned a full complete circle and fell to the ground and blood was gushing from his face...turns out my brother broke his nose They both got suspended.
