Adding some color
So I bought this house around Easter last year.... the elderly lady who owned it before owned a flower shop so her yard was wonderful before she got too old to care for it..... needless to say I have clay pots EVERYWHERE in the yard which once held flowers of every sort....
So I want to get that going again..... and I wanted to spruce up the yard to look "younger" and less like a little old lady lives there..... so I was thinking about spray-painting all the clay pots in different colors like pink, purple, yellow, green before setting planting flower seeds in them..... so when I place them around the yard it will be little added bursts of color.
Your thoughts??

Re: Adding some color
Are they just randomly placed in the yard or are they in areas surrounded by mulch or something (under the tree?) It's been a while since I've been over so I forget...
My visualization at the moment is random neon pots scattered.
OOO OOO you gotta do hanging pots from the porch!!!

well they would be set around in other flower beds..... do surrounded by mulch and trees..... there are a few right now that line my stairs.... so I'd probably keep those there.

I like it! Ooooo you could paint them colors and then do multi-colored "spots" on the pots. Or paint the rim one color and the pot another...
Is spray paint going to work well? Are they terra-cotta pots?
Do they make easter-colored spray paints?

I like bright cobalt blue pots. They match all the seasons.
