ROFL I make our big meals on the weekend. I need to buy some baking pans for the recipe booklet you sent me! I want to make a few of the chicken casseroles. A bunch of them were easy and ready-to-make, some others I needed extra ingredients. I think one was a chicken green bean casserole. Drool

Just get the throw away ones. Then you can freeze them, cook them, and chuck it. It will be better that way when the babies come. Or you can make your mom do the dishes! lol

Niceeeeeeee. I want to start it for sure. We eat such random crap. Yesterday I was lazy and threw the leftovers in a tupperware container. I had rice, marsala chicken, and peas in one nuked container. lol

I do that for shopping. My problem is I am tired when I get done with class, and haven't eaten anything so I just grab something on my way home. I have class from 9 to 2 most days, so it's a weird time to eat.

I don't guess I get what you mean by "shop from the outside of the store"...how do you shop if your outside?!

I'm guessing she means like a market place or a stand. Smile

Or is she talking about shopping from the outer edges of the store to the middle of the store?

The outside aisles. Think of how most grocery stores are laid out. You walk in, the produce is there, then the meat is along the back wall, then the dairy, then frozen stuff. If you only shop from those aisles, you are getting unprocessed foods.

I've never thought about that but you're absolutely right! It's pretty much like "eating clean".

That is very interesting!

I heard though that canned veggies are just as good if not better then frozen?

I've heard the opposite that frozen veggies are better than canned.

Frozen are better. They are uncooked so they still have all the nutrients in them. However, when you cook them, it in essence does the same thing. But when you can vegetables it at at a higher temperature to preserve them. So really, frozen is a little better, but as long as you are eating veggies who really cares!
