In between the housework and juggling the baby, do you ever get it back? Like...I would LOVE to curl up and read a book, scrapbook, bake something, design something, have a hobby again...

How do you manage the time and get to do those things?

...Or do I have to wait until he's in kindergarten? lol

Jeannette - You have to cut into your sleeping time Freakout
I get up probably two hours earlier then I really need to in order to have some "me time" in the morning before work. I use this time to catch up on school work, farm on farmville (hehe), and catch up on my shows

NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no such thing as "me" time when you have kids...... the other day my PJ party was supposed to be my "me" time, what happens? DH shows up with DD about 8:00 pm and plays video games saying DD would be fine for 30 minutes...... well yeah, but she was hanging out at the party wanting me to hold her, and "play" and then he was supposed to get her to sleep and then leave to meet friends..... but at 9:30 all his friends show up at my house to pick him up and DD is still not asleep...... so I had to leave my PJ party to put DD to bed....... needless to say that was a MASSIVE argument in our house-hold..... but long story short..... there is no such thing as "me" time! After my rugrat is asleep, I get my me time. Sometimes when my mom is here, she'll distract him long enough for me to get a kid free shower or try to put clothes away.
Before Chris left, I would go to the library all day Monday and he would have his day with Connor. He would get mad if I didn't leave soon enough or if my parents came over.

I joined copamilwaukee.com last night! The group meets every second Tuesday at a nice little East side Restaurant to drink wine and show off our photography we took during the week Smile I'm way excited about that!!!
