I am alive! I survived nursing school, and even got my RN license.....well, not uet. I passed the test, but I'm still not listed on the Board of Nursing website.

I got a job, too! I'm going to work on the 4th floor at Onslow at night. Not what I wanted, but it's a good place to start. It's mostly kidneys, stomachs, and surgery recoveries. Hopefully after a few months there I'll be able to transfer to the ER, which is where I decided I want to work FOREVVVVVVVEEEEEERRRRRR!!! I also got into a bachelor's degree program at UNC Wilmington that starts this fall. So I've had a lot on my plate.

What about y'all? I've missed you sooooooooooo much!! Tell me what's been going on with you guys!

I've moved back to Ohio, trying to find a job at the moment. I went to an interview last Thursday and am waiting to hear back from them by Friday hopefully. I think it went very well, I was there for about an hour and a half. It's for a part time teller position at a local bank branch. Wes is getting out in July, and will be going to school at the community college down the road. He's excited about going and I'm excited about it too.

We moved back on base in TT1. John is going to have surgery on his shoulder on Monday. Reese is still going to preschool aaaand that's about it!

Jon's back from Haiti. Deploys early next year. Wesson turned a year on the 9th. He's walking and chaotic.

Work has been busy. I'm tired...and I'm still moaning about all the things that have gone on since before you left.

Anyway, I'm sad you aren't here anymore Kala, but it's good that you're back around family again! I hope you get that job, I was a teller for a few years and I loved it!

Tate, I'm so excited for your mom! Yay for the new house! Is TT1 the ones that are brand-brand-new, or are those the ones that were built in like 2004? I always get them confused. What's wrong with JOhn's shoulder?

Jeannette, you need to come down and visit with us again!! I miss you and Wesson and I want to meet Jon. I'm glad he's home and I hope you are enjoying your time together. Any more news on the medical/surgery front? You can send me a message or tell me if you have a thread about it if you don't want to talk about it here.

And there hasn't been much major progress. I'm going to therapy a few times a month (that's some hysterical stuff right there... )

After the therapy, I can get the surgery. Surgery is still so far out that there isn't a date established or anything. I might have a thread...I'll have to go look.

Oh but there's different kinds!!!

If you lay on your back...contract your muscles on the exhale and push out in the inhale. It makes your brain freakout. It's kind of easy to do sitting up, but laying down is hard. You are NOT allowed to use your core muscles...which makes it even worse!

Then, after sets of those, switch off contracting/pushing.

Can you imagine what someone looking at this not knowing what happened must think

HAHA You have to remember that my last labor was only 2 hours from start to finish and that was with nothing (since the epidural didn't work) so I'm not as traumatized from giving birth as you.

Plus I'm going for my own TV show . . . didn't I tell you?

I think that having a baby with no pain relief would traumatize me no matter how short my labor was.
