Memorial Day Plans

Any big plans for the weekend?

My sister is flying in Thursday, we're going to dinner.

Friday we're going to the mall and probably driving around Raleigh.

Saturday we're going to the beach, maybe Lejeune, and then coming back to Raleigh for a birthday party.

Sunday we're taking the boat out and then grilling out.

Monday we're going to celebrate my sister's 17th birthday and then having cake! Then she leaves back for Wisconsin!

I think we are going to the cabin. It is up by the Canadian border. We went up a few weekends ago and Rosemary thought it was awesome!

Jeannette - That sounds like a fun weekend! At least she will be used to the warm weather! We are melting up here!

Liz - Aren't you afraid of the bears? lol

Hopefully I will have a baby by then..if not then Idk what we are doing yet lol

Sitting around eating ice cream would be a good idea haha

We have graduation parties to go to.

The last time we were up I was going out to go to the bathroom in the morning (we have an outhouse. Yeah, it's THAT in the middle of nowhere) and I heard a huge thump, thump, and thought it was a bear. It was just a moose. But I thought to myself "Great, I'm gonna get mauled by a bear and I'm wearing my Little House on the Prairie flannel nightgown."

I heard moose were worse then bears though

Never seen a moose before!

They are huge Kala. You can't even imagine how big they are. I am more scared of a bear though. They have scary teeth and claws. Grrrrr....

I spent some time in Vancouver and my cousin and I joked that a moose was all I wanted to see . . . Never saw one

I love Little House on the Prairie.

Brad's parents are taking three of the kids to Wisconsin Dells for the entire weekend.

Natalee and I are marching in the Greendale Memorial Day Parade.

Brad has a BUNCH of Marine Corps ceremonies to attend (which means I'll either have to take the baby to them or find something else to do)

It's always hard to turn down going somewhere with Brad in his dress blues

Luckies! The Dells is so much fun!

Not when you have 4 children under the age of five running everywhere lol

LOL yeah this weekend made my decision to be done a LOT easier!

Probably nothing since John has surgery today We want to go to New Bern and hang out but I doubt it'll happen.

I miss New Bern. And Captain Ratty's restaurant.

If we go we will have to eat there. My brother and ex wife ate there but me and John never did. I love New Bern...if we go we will be going back to Tyron Palace...I loved that place.

I never went to New Bern, I wish we would have.

What kind of food are those places?
