It is pushing the end of October and it's still 84 degrees out!

While I don't mind it too much seeing as our summer was scorching, it's still not fall weather. I will probably get pneumonia once I get back to England because of the climate difference!

What's the weather like in your area?

At the moment it's cold and foggy but I'm sure that'll change as the day goes on. I'm with you and I wish the weather would make up it's mind but it's like that every year here...the roller coaster months.

It's Pneumonia weather. I've been sick for a month now. Literately.

It's 40 degrees and sunny, will get up to 70 today.

After the unbelievably hot summer we've had here, I would appreciate weather in the 20s! I am so excited to get back to England because of the cool weather!

Note to self: Visit England in summer.

I've been in Georgia all summer! Temps hovering around 100 everyday all summer! Summer in England is perfect! It's like in the high 70s.

I had a layover once in Ireland Other than that we haven't been to any other countries. That's why we're going on that cruise next month, knocking out a bunch!

We met an Irish guy at a pub in England once. He was NOT that attractive. Very disappointed.

my MIL is from Scotland i would love to go and visit all of DH's family over there...but i highly doubt ill ever get to go out of the country lol

Oh don't say that!! I complain about the inconveniences of living overseas but I know I'm gonna miss it when we move.

Marine people can't be stationed overseas?? I'm not too informed with the Marines

Depends on your job.

With my husband's (Infantry), he can get Pendleton CA, Lejeune NC, Okinawa Japan, or Hawaii.

I suppose "rarely" his MOS would get stationed elsewhere but...meh.

I like Army. Man I'd kill to go to Germany!!!

I want to go to Germany really bad!! I'm hoping that after a few years in the states, we can go back overseas! We just want to be back "home" for a little while.

We know of one guy (who we got our cat from) that got stationed in Italy! I think he worked at the embassy or something like that....Now THAT sounds like a good place to be stationed....pasta for miles!

I tell John all the time if he ever went to Army (which he just would never be able to do he says they are to sloppy and would never take any of them seriously...plus he says they are fat ) we would be going for Germany!

Jon says the same thing about the Army. Gaah. Whatever. Marines just have big heads.

My buddy does stuff for the Embassy and has been to Africa. They have to sign a contract about it. I don't think you're allowed to have a wife. I know one of Jon's friend's did guarding in DC and had to sign a contract for 3 years stating he was not allowed to have a wife or kids.

This guy had a wife and kid so maybe that wasn't what he did...and he may have been Navy. I have no idea.

yea theres a chance we could get stationed overseas i guess, but that doesnt mean that i want to be lol, i would just want to visit then be able to leave

You never truly appreciate Walmart until you live overseas!

well then they probably would be sent back to the states....pronto!

It's currently 54 degrees, with a light breeze. I love this weather.
