My first oral surgery I wasn't in pain right when we got home, so my dad didn't give me my painkiller. But a little later the pain hit. He felt so bad.
I was able to eat after, we stocked up on soup, jello cups, pudding cups. Rest if you can too, pop in a movie an lay on the couch.

Awesome.

They're going to put me under via IV so I'll be out completely.

The dentist is even giving me a relaxer to take an hour before I go in! lol

I'm going to lay in bed and do nothing...all day.

I need to catch up on a ton of sleep! Thank god my husband is home!

My doctor recommended I sleep in a recliner for the first 2-3 days, or sleep propped up in bed. It helps the swelling go down faster. Considering I didn't have as many problems as my friends who have gotten theirs out, I'd say it worked. Thumb up

That sounds good. I have all Monday to lay around... Tuesday, we have an appointment for Wesson and I have to work at noon.

I don't know how useful I'm going to be. lol

My husband goes back to base Tuesday afternoon so it'll be all me to deal with the house again til Friday. Irked

Oh my gosh. You're going back to work the next day? You're a brave woman. lol Make sure you cover your desk/keyboard with paper towels. LMAO I think I still had gauze in then, and was drooling all over the place.

You'll be fine around the house, definitely. I think I was only on painkillers for a day, maybe a day and a half, and I had all four out at once.

Well you know how mine went. I agree with sleeping propped up though it helped with the throbbing. Other than that for three weeks I was in pain...then again mine were "more involved" as the dentist said lol

Good luck though! I'll be thinking about you!

Get lots of Jello!

Agree on the jello, as well as pudding, popsicles, soup, etc. I was able to eat mashed potatoes after about day 2, and survived on those for about a week. lol
