I feel like I got hit by a train.

I'm so tired, slept like crap, feet are swollen...

I work until 5 and then have to get the garbage ready for tomorrow, make dinner, give Wesson a bath, and fold laundry, oh...dishes too!

Um I swept the floor and picked up the living room. Told John today he was going to do dishes! Taking all of our tax returns to the mail today to send them into the State and Treasury! Woot then going to PetSmart to get Gunner a prong collar because its impossible to walk that dog on a leash. He pulls SO hard and doesn't even care if he is choking to death. He coughs and gags etc. Hopefully that will help him out a little bit.

Um. I don't think there is really anything else that we are doing today.

I wish there was a PetSmart close. I loved that store. Sad

Kala I hate when we move home because the closest pet store is 35 minutes away....and its a Petco. I hate Petco! Its a lot more expensive and just not as nice or good as Petsmart is.

Jeannette I really hope it helps him because he is just ridiculous and stubborn on a collar. We tried a harness too but that didn't help any either..it just kept him from choking but he still pulled.

Have you used a prong collar before?

The trick is to keep the collar as high on their neck as possible. You have to pull the links apart to put it on him, not slide it over his head. If you place the collar too low, it won't do anything because it will be sitting on his neck muscles. Keep it high, right under his ears. You'll be able to tell instantly if you have it on right. One quick snap of the leash and he'll stop dead in his tracks.

Well we bought one today. Next time we take him some where I guess we'll find out if it works lol today we used his harness and he seemed to do much better. I think slowly he is starting to figure out he is going to be going where Daddy wants to go instead of where he wants to go lol
