Finances Empty Finances

I know it's tight for everyone right now, I'm just upset at myself. This is the second month in a row that I've overspent on food. I never used to have trouble budgeting. Now I seem to have no control since eating out is the only time I see my classmates.

have you tried just getting an appetizer as your meal? i know depending on where your eating they can be much cheaper than getting a full meal, or if you are going to fast food places, get something that is on their value menu? it might help a little

Maybe you could split a meal with someone. A lot of restaurants give large portions and can easily feed two people! Or try the appetizer for dinner instead! Eating out is a huge portion of our food budget too. It is just so convenient and easy. Hope you can figure it out! Smile

oh I've heard that several restaurants will pre-box half your meal.... so you can take it home and eat it again! Smile

We quit eating out completely, too damn expensive.

I second/third getting an appetizer or something. Or hell, I've simply told my friends I can't afford it. lol
