Psycho person on facebook

Okay there is this guy that I was friends with in high school.... never dated.... literally have not seen nor talked to him in OVER 10 years.

All of a sudden he sends me a chat session on facebook chat.... and says "hey I'm going to put a picture on my profile I want you to check it out."

I'm like okay..... and it's this picture of us together from high school.....

Now this would not be so bad.... except that he made it HIS PROFILE PICTURE!!!! WHY???????

To make matters worse, he has like NO pictures up of him and any girls..... so from an outsiders standpoint it looks like I'm his woman!!!! OMG!

Ya'll my husband is going to spazz out!!!! Isn't this NUTS???? I wrote him back because I didn't know what to say.... and was like "haha that's funny but don't tag me...."

Um?????????? Is this not strange for anyone else? Or am I blowing this way out of proportion???

Maybe the benefit of the doubt is that he doesn't know how Facebook operates and accidentally made it his profile picture?

You can remove the tag yourself by the way.

The thing that creeps me out the most.... is he HAD to have this picture (a paper picture by the way because it's scanned) at his fingertips ready to load..... WHY does he have MY picture from 10 years ago just sitting around in his house? I got rid of all my old pictures a LONG time ago!

Maybe he's a packrat.

I have momentos and report cards from middle school. I throw stuff in a box and put it on a shelf.

But...you never really talked to him...that's...ya that's weird.

Girl, I could MAYBE understand if we dated..... you know? Or if we were BEST BEST friends.....

but yeah, NO! I mean we were "friends" but he has never been to my house, I don't think I ever had his phone number, things like that.... I mean there is a picture of us together which I think was from a party.... but I mean....... NO.... would I call us great friends??? HELL NO!

I'm in a panic right now, can you tell? I'm like flipping out because all I can think about is that he has some shrine set up in his closet to me....... Ugh this is VERY silence of the lambs.....

Dude this is very weird for me.... and I am thinking that I need to relocate, change my name, maybe join a victims of stalkers support group!

Ok, wait, I may have a normal explanation for you... there are lots of people doing "way back week" on facebook. You put a picture of yourself from a ways back, like when you were young... so maybe that's why he was going through his pics. Maybe he saw that one and thought it was funny, but not in a stalker crazy way. And BTW, I still have pics from middle school and high school from like everything I took pictures of, so I definitely have pics of people that I haven't talked to in many years in there.

So maybe he's not completely crazy? Maybe?

Okay see normally I could totally see that..... BUT if he was really doing the whole "way back when" week.... wouldn't he be putting up a BUNCH of pictures.... and not just this one????

Nope, it's just your profile picture that people are doing, at least all of my friends are just putting one up for their profile pic.
