Grocery Shopping

I really desperately need to go grocery shopping..... last night we had sausage, and hashbrowns for dinner......




I HATE going grocery shopping!

I love grocery shopping...

Almost too much.

I'm going to try Tate's idea - at least I think it was her idea - map our our menu for the whole month???

Yep. That's what Tate does. Or you can do it weekly...bi-weekly...

I just keep a piece of paper on the fridge 24/7 with a pen nearby. As things get low or gone, I write it down.

It's the ONLY way I can remember things.

Nooo thats not Tate that does that. I buy about a month worth of groceries at a time though. That way I don't have to go back all the time.

I disklike grocery shopping as well.

well I only grocery shop once a month..... but I've never had any rhyme or reason to it....just picked up a bunch of stuff.... this time, I'm actually going by a menu. So we shall see!

I did the menu thing for about 2 months. Wes wouldn't cooperate with the menu so I just quit doing it.

we do a menu we plan meals out for 2 weeks And we eat out once a week def saves some money we switch nights on who cooks what to lol today is my turn thank goodness i picked a meal that stays in the crockpot for 8 hours

yeah it may be an epic failure.... but we'll see!!!

awww thanks..... the scary part is that I'm introducing new recipes at the same time...... um yeah...... this should be interesting!!!!

we haven't tried any new recipes lately. . . We are kinda boring.

I'll let you know how they turn out!! If I can cook them, anybody can cook them!!! I'll share if it's worth it!

I know what you mean about grocery shopping...I always wait til it's time to make dinner, then go to grocery store hungry...and just end up spending too much money!

I might try that mapping out things for a week at a time...the hard part will be making it last!

I really need to try planning out meals. And the crockpot is my best friend. Last thing I made in there was sloppy joes from scratch. They were great! I'm hungry now...

I want some kinda chicken crock pot recipe...I mostly use it for chili, pot roast..etc.

I made a Veggie soup and oh man it was sooo good

I'm going to try Beef Teriyaki tonight.....

Mmm sounds good LaDonna. I alway buy the veggies in the frozen section and then get the beef and then throw it in the pan and viola. It always turns out good I guess because the pan is always empty at the end of supper.

I have a recipe for this...
