So I'm thinking about.....

going back to school.....

I already have a Bachelors Degree but I'm thinking about getting my mechanical engineering degree and specializing in mechanical drafting.

I've already got some experience in this....but don't have a degree to back it up..... I'm thinking it can open up some possibilities to me.

I was going to do it as a distance education program.... so I can still work. It's going to be SOOOOO hard to do I think...... I'm nervous, excited, in a smiley:

But...I don't know. I kind of want something else as a backup. I kind of want to go for management...as a backup...

UNC-Charlotte looked to have decent distant learning programs (reasonably priced!)

Check and see if they have your program...

Some days I wish I would have just become a damn doctor like I wanted to!

Jeannette you should just become a doctor and then move to Jacksonville so we can all use you!

I really wanted to. If I could go back in time...I'd become a Pulmonologist (lung doctor).

And I'd work at the VA.

That was my goal in life.

but now your doing something SO much cooler...making fire sprinkler systems...I mean it is a pretty neat job. John even said so!

I do sort of feel like a big shot brainiac when people give me the "Huh? What the hell do you do?"

I suppose I do look pretty hot in steeltoes and a hardhat...

That was what I wanted to do my freshman year! Then I decided that health professional school isn't for me.
