Any G2G happening anytime soon?

Hey ladies!

I just didnt know if anyone was planning to have a g2g soon. My SO has left for deployment and I'm pretty much at home all alone really bummed out.
I sort of have a hard time meeting new people too...sort of shy i guess....

Sitting around here has really made me super depressed and if i do this for 7 months I'm going to all the time.

I think it would be really good for me to make some friends...

Are you married? I am a part of the American Legion Auxiliary and now the Marine Corp League Auxiliary . . . There are a lot of really cool groups out there!

We moved off base about 5 months ago! It's been so lonely! I hate not knowing anyone. Having friends around makes the time pass by and your days so much brighter

Yeah we live next to a bunch of ssgts and stuff and most of them dont talk to us because my husband is like the only sgt in the neighborhood and most of them have kids, and ill bet they talk to us when my daughter is born lol

You should have seen this rookie out of boot camp I was talking to at the Marine Ball this past year. Every time Brad would walk up he would completely freeze. (Brad was not mean or anything it's just a rank thing)
We were joking with him at the bar, and all us girls got together and took a picture with him.

well we have one extremely nice neighbor who always talks to us but thats about it lol which we kinda dont mind but sometimes it would be nice to get a "hi" when we are outside..they always wave when we drive by

i have no friends down here either, we just moved onto base in june, and i dont really talk to my neighbors that much and my friends that i did have, have moved away and it especially makes it hard because we only have one car
