We might be moving home next year!

Dh called a while back and asked how I felt about him doing DI next year. I told him not CA. He said no Beaufort SC.....WOOOHOO!!! I might get to move back home!!! As much as I love it here my gosh I miss home!! I miss my beaches and my friends and downtown. I miss the smell in the morning by the marsh...I MISS BEAUFORT!!!!!! Still in early stages he hasn't even put in a packet so....long ways away!

Thats exciting my husbands well..probably best friend (they call themselves Brad and Chad) is currently deployed. They are going to SC as soon as he gets back!

ALSO our cousin is stationed in Beaufort! He is coming up today though since they have a 96 and this is the first time we've seen him in like three years!

I think if my DH said he wanted to go home for duty station I would take him for a psych eval. Military life suits us just fine since neither of us have friends left back home (they've mostly moved away or we have lost touch) and neither of use wants to be within a couple hundred miles of family.

DITTO. Well, just home in general...there's no station in WI...

I'm thankful to be 950 miles from inlaws.

See...I wish there was a Marine base around....4 or 5 hours from home. Close enough but far enough away. But alas...we live in Arkansas. (ALTHOUGH there is a Navy base about 2 1/2 hours away from where we live).

I would like to be away from SC its not because of family or friends really I want to go back home. Its just the town I'm in love with it. I love the south. Plus free babysitting while I go back to school. After SC I think we will try and be out of the country for awhile...
