Countdown thread/ checklist for Interview!

This is my countdown thread and checklist for my graduate school interview next Thurs - Sun
1. Pack (don't forget charger & laptop & lots of warm clothes)
2. Print out the 7 latest research papers & read them
3. Put together my portfolio and resume
4. Check that I am getting picked up at the airport.
5. Put together DB's belated V-day gift.
Am I forgetting anything?

Ah... a flat iron for hair? I don't straighten my hair ever. An iron for clothes, I may need though.

Makeup is a good one, so is socks. As long as I don't forget my underwear, I'm good. 6 days to go!

you get out of the shower start to get ready for your interview and realize..."Oh crap...I forgot my undies!" I can just imagine the panic.

Yeah... "Nooo!" coming from the shower with the hotel roomie running in and asking what's wrong.

Your new gloves!
Sweaters
Thick socks (do you need to borrow my hunting socks?)
Underoos!
A hat or earmuffs
The thickest, biggest, coat you own
Dress pants
Dress shirts
Nice shoes

Hi Jeannette, Yes I do need to borrow your hunting socks please. I got legitimate socks and a hat. I got a pair of waterproof Timberland shoes at Plato's Closet for $22 (they aren't interview appropriate though... so I shall save them for snowshoeing only)! Aren't you proud of me? I'm borrowing a friend's coat.

I'm so confused why do you need all these winter clothes for a interview?

We're going snowshoeing the day after the interview, so I'm spending from 10am-5pm outside in the Rocky Mountains.

It's okay, Jeannette. I figured you had a tiring day. Don't worry, I'm borrowing two coats from a friend. I am going to wear tights underneath my warm toe-pants and two pairs of socks on top. It should do the trick. See ya when I come back!
