CPR Empty CPR

Ugh...time to go get CPR certified again. I always feel like a huge doof in front of everybody. I haven't ever had to use it in a hospital setting yet thank god. But I'm getting recertified with nurses and respitory techs who do it all the time I'm sure. Blah........ CPR 1624 Talk about nerves. I don't even understand why I get nervous. Its like highschool all over again every two years lol. Time to go be the uncool kid lol Smile

When I got mine, my dummy didn't work right. lol

You know, when you tilt their head back and breathe, their chest is supposed to rise? Ya...mine didn't. The thingymajig never opened to allow air...regardless of how tilted the head was.

LMAO

I'm certified to use the defib...defrib...ulator...thingymajigs too. giggle

I have never been certified. I need to go get certified. Where do you guys go? Do the fire departments offer the classes/certifications?

Well I passed lol...but I was used as the live "dummy" for hymlic (sp) manuver and the instructor said "go unconsious" and I was like huh? He wanted me to go limp..... CPR 6993 got laughed at by the whole class. But I passed yuck two years till have to go back!

lol. Yea I am known for being clueless and ditzy. Its hard to for me to "act" smart...lol I just can't focus all my energy in it.
