Me too! But thats because I am. I don't know what has happened to my period but its just TERRIBLE this time. This is the first period I've had on this birth control and I am NOT liking it. I will see what next month brings...but if its anything like this then I'm changing back to Yaz.

I shouldn't be...but I'm still screwed up from childbirth. Some cycles are 29 days, 31 days, 35 days, 41 days (conveniently when Jon left for Haiti. Talk about a freakout... )

I'm not due for another couple weeks but damn. I feel my claws coming out today.

No its a off brand of Yaz...probably a off brand of Yasmin. So I went to only having 4 days off of the birth control for my period to having a week off of birth control for my period and my flow is SO heavy. I went through a tampon yesterday in like a hour and usually I can wear the same tampon for like 6 hours. I mean...my flow is normally Soooooo little and last night I had to get up in the middle of the night because it was pouring out it seemed (gross I know but you know what I mean).

I'm hoping next month is better and I just have to get used to having a week without birth control (you know the sugar/placebo pills) I was on Yasmin before Yaz and don't remember it being this bad. Sooo hopefully it will get better.

Hmmm. Maybe it's just like that because it's your first cycle on a different birth control?

My sister is having a similar problem. She was on YAZ for 2 years, just got off of it (is currently on no birth control), and now she's complaining of the moodswings and super heavy flow. Come to think of it, she COULDN'T take the offbrand that they tried to give her because it didn't work. She more or less takes it for the extreme mood swings. She HAD to have the namebrand. Why did you switch?

Because of all the problems people are having on Yaz with heart problems and such. Was worried that was why I was having chest pain so I got off of it but of course last week had chest pain so I know it wasn't the birth control.

I was on Yaz for three years. I'm hoping its just because its my first period on this birth control. If next month is the same way I'll be going back to the doctor for something else.

Ya, Jon is understanding of my viewpoints with me not taking birth control, but he let it be known that he was ticked about having to use a "preventative" upon return from last deployment.

Once he finishes this contract, and we can sit down and fully discuss kids and how my factory is CLOSED, we'll make a decision and he'll be getting fixed.

If I could get fixed I would have been fixed three years ago.

I'm to "young" it causes to many "problems" yada yada. I know I am done having kids. If a woman can make a choice to abort her baby she should be able to make the choice if she wants to be fixed darn it.

Yeah it is tougher but I mean they have things like Essure that are surgery free that just make your tubes grow together. Thats what I want even if John does get fixed that way we don't have a accident. I'm afraid Johns swimmers will find another way to impregnate me

Oh he wants to get fixed he just doesn't want any one messing with the jewels I told him he would just have to get over it. He has a son and we aren't having any more kids there for we are done with the "jewels"

Yeah if we would have had a girl I'm sure we would have ended up with one more BUT we got lucky and had the boy first so NO MORE!

Oh ya. I though Jon was going to run through the hospital screaming about having a boy. I was still disgusting and practically open on the table while he called everyone. His platoon was having a barbeque and awaiting the news.

I heard everyone cheer when his buddy yelled..."B.....HAD A BOY!!!"

Wes was the first boy in the platoon in 3 years. EVERYONE has girls.

We want a boy so bad but with my luck we will become jon and kate plus 8 the natural way! We got prego on Depo with the twins and I miscarried with my IUD..which I had gotten checked for placement like a month earlier. So I plan on essure here soon. Next few years I guess. It is wicked cool. They stick this thing like a slinkie up in your va ja ja and you come into radiology a few weeks later and have a retrograde test done to make sure the falopian tubes are sealed off. Uber sweet if you ask me compared to surgery!
