Tutu Costume???

Okay I make tutus!!! and so far every birthday Mackenzie has had a new tutu to wear as the birthday girl. Last year for her Halloween party I made her a bumblebee costume, head to toe.

I want to do the same thing this year....

Does anyone have a suggestion for a costume I can make, that may involve a tutu??? There is always the obvious: a fairy, a bee, a ladybug.... but she's already been a bee and a ladybug... we haven't done the fairy thing yet.... but I not certain if I want to do that or not.

I would love to do Little Mermaid, but I don't think Kenny would allow Mackenzie to walk around with nothing but seashells covering her nip nips!

I think you could. You could do shells and make them look something like the top of this dress. I think that would be so cute! ( I posted this dress in the MC Ball thread but when you mentioned little mermaid it reminded me of sea shells ontop kinda!)

Take an aqua bodysuit, bedazzle it with glitter glue, glue 2 seashells on for a "bra" (or not, up to you), and have a multicolored tutu with an aqua underlay. She already has the hair.

I'll probably just do the generic halloween themed party..... but let Mackenzie be Ariel, I think it would be too hard for parents to all try to revolve around an under-water theme at this age! but I love all those ideas!!! we may have to do some just for fun.
