what to wear to a catholic church wedding?

But I was wondering what do you wear to a catholic church wedding? We were invited to one and I have nooo idea what to wear...Any ideas?? please and thank you

Just a nice dress? I know the last one I went to years ago I wore a pink dress with sleeves, it was about knee-length (my family is super conservative Catholic, but that may not apply to the one you're going to).

If it's traditional, I'd wear a nice dress with some heels.

Don't expose bra straps (or match color with color to blend)

Do the dress length by the fingertip rule (dress can be no shorter than where the fingertips meet on your thigh.

Other then that, you should be fine.

Oh, don't let your boobage hang out. A little cleavage is ok...but nothing overboard. lol

lol ok im going to find a knee length dress and probably get a little cover thing to wear at the wedding but not to the reception

The first one seems okay, the second one would be okay if you wore it in a non-black color. Then again that could've been just my family.

I'm short and stumpy and they flatter my hips.

Penneys had some reasonably priced dresses. I looked at Dillards and almost died at the $100+.

My prom dress came from Penneys.

Kohls was my favorite place to shop until I *feel* that they shrunk their jeans.

I USED to fit into a junior's 13. After a year and a baby, I could fit into my brand new 13's (bought right before I found out I was pregnant) with extra waist space. When I went to buy more, I couldn't put my butt in a 15. I was depressed.

I shop at Old Navy for jeans now. Cheap and they cover the mom gut that I have.

I personally wouldn't wear the first two. I come from a very conservative Catholic family though. Even if you cover it up for church, I wouldn't do the one shoulder thing. That's just me though.

Okay I have to go with Liz...in my opinion the first show off way to much skin...The ones that Jeannette posted were much better.
