HA we have it under control . . .
She is off and I'm on.
She had a seperate account so it was only in her name happydance
That could have been a situation LOL

I do like the idea . . .
I will have to look into it more.
Potentially has good options for a new car.
I still think I might wait until we move down there to get one though.
We will see.

At least go to the products and services, go to the "car buying service" and see what kind of discounts you can get! Just search vaguely!

I think I might get it Liz! On the USAA car finder, I can get 6k knocked off the MSRP with the discount.

I'm going to put 3k down, plus the military incentive...I should be well around 13k. And that's before any negotiation (which I have to learn how to do.....)

A lady called me today from the dealer with the car I want (to a T!!!) it's a 2010 LT1 in AQUAMARINE (SQUEAAAAAAAK!!!) with a black interior. Power everything, etc.

After all is said and done, it should be a few grand under what I qualify for on a new car loan with USAA.

I meet with the lady on Saturday. I'm hoping this is "the one"!!!

For some reason I thought this was more of an SUV . . .
Is it like a station wagon?

That's my thing. I got approved for a loan and the HHR is in my budget.

If I can't get that, I'm just going to buy a small sedan. No point in a big one. Regardless of size, it's not like I'm fitting a ladder in the damn thing.

I just need it justtttt enough to fit a double stroller.

I love USAA we have our car loan through them and insurance.

My brother banks with them and all you do is scan your check and that deposits the check in your account. Pretty spiffy. I've always worried about having a physical bank but he really likes them.

Also if you have a iPhone you can take a picture of it and send it and that will deposit the check too. You can also have the USAA app (I have the app).
