Explain this "Kindle" thing...
If I read it correctly...it's a...ummm...electronic book?
Why not just carry around...A BOOK. What's so fancy about these thingymajigs?

I think they are good for people who travel alot. That way they can have a library of books to read while traveling.
They look pretty nifty I think. But I think it would hurt my eyes to read it a lot...

Yeah, it's pretty much like an ipod for books, so instead of having a bunch of books, you have electronic copies of them and read them on the Kindle. It's supposed to be pretty easy on the eyes actually from what I hear.

I think it's supposed to have less glare than most electronics and a good contrast to be easy on the eyes. I haven't ever seen on in person though, so I don't know what it looks like.
