Honda Insight
This is purely just the beginning stages of questions........
I'm toying with the idea of trading in my truck. I LOVE my truck..... me and my truck have a solid love affair but in all honesty it's just to dang expensive....
I was looking at the Honda Insight..... it's freakin' ugly as sin, but it gets 43 miles to the gallon!
Anybody know good or bad things about this car?

Re: Honda Insight
First I have to laugh and tell you (as you said) it is the UGLIEST car ever! Never heard of it or seen one so I can't really be of any help.
We are looking into trading our little truck (we have a big truck and a little truck. Big is the Silverado Crew Cab. Little is the Ford Ranger ) in for a Ford Fusion. They are really nice. Was also looking into the Kia Optima, Jeep Patriot, or even a Kia Soul. Need something better on gas than our two trucks we currently have

I know!!! it's so ugly.... but I have to be smart.... and as much as I love my truck, it was a stupid frivolous purchase. I did not NEED the biggest and best truck out there. I want something safe and good on gas.... that's what I want.

Re: Honda Insight
I get about 30 mpg with my Soul. I hate the fucking car. Like...it's hideous. It's a box that Jon calls a go-cart and insists on playing the Hamster commercial song whenever we get into it.
But I love the mileage and can look beyond the appearance.
I'm not sure about a hybrid just because I don't know that they've been around long enough. You have to look into the battery life for those things. If there's a warranty, how long the battery lasts, and how much it costs to replace.
