Coming Home

So I started watching it this morning. I am starting from the beginning episode, and it's so good. Plays on the heart strings for sure!!!

nope.... can't do it...... I'm way to emotional for that show.

I am too, but I just had to watch it. Had to see what everyone was talking about.

I don't like it as much as I want to like it.

I feel like the host guy is a little bit fake...but I did like last nights episode of the guy honoring the man who was on the ground who died. I didn't watch the rest of the episode.

it seemed like all last night was about military casualties.... it was a depressing TV night

It was! Really depressing.

so for anyone that loved this show, TLC ripped it off and has their own show coming out on monday july 11 called surprise homecoming hosted by billy ray cyrus

I saw the pilot for it a few weeks ago! I might be watching it.

I can't take a show like that seriously if Billy Ray Cyrus is hosting it...

Sorry but I don't like any of the Coming Home shows. #1 what makes those guys more special than those missing the births of their children, surgeries, funerals, etc. etc. I WISH those that REALLY needed to be home could get to come home.

i get where your coming from tate, but i know that in coming home all the guys that they showed were all due to come home from their deployments and just surprised their loved ones..no one got any special treatment. but you are right i wish they could come home for that kind of stuff too.

Eh, it's part of the job. And it sucks, but it is what it is.

I've seen "Coming Home" a couple times but it was too soon into the deployment that it made me sappy, and Jeannette doesn't get sappy. I enjoy tribute videos on youtube more than anything.

I cry like a baby when I see homecoming tributes or anything to do with homecomings. . .
