The beauty of Vinegar

I never knew until tonight that vinegar can be used to clean a garbage disposal.

1 cup of vinegar and enough water to fill an ice tray.

Freeze and then pop the cubes down the disposal and run them through. After it's done flush with cold water for about a minute.


What else? uhm...


Bathtub Film - To remove film buildup, wipe with vinegar then baking soda. Rinse.

Grease - grease build up on fridge or stove can be cleaned with a cloth dipped in vinegar.

Hands - restore moisture to your hands after they've been in cleaning solutions, plaster, concrete or powdered detergents. Just rub them down with the V stuff.




And of course it's good on collard greens and sliced cucumbers!

Hmm... may try this when I actually do have vinegar

There are tons of uses for it. It can be used as a general household cleaner too, like wiping down kitchen and bathroom counters. Hubby hates the smell though so he banned me from using it for that.

You can also add it to laundry as a brightener, helps to remove the yellow underarm stains in white shirts as well as just brighten clothes.

Here's a bunch more, there are tons and tons of things you can do with it, everyone should have a gallon jug around the house!
