My BF and I have been together 17 months this month. He is a career Army man...been in 20 years and still in. He's currently serving in tempoary duty at Ft. Meade, MD while I'm in Ohio.

Please feel free to chat anytime. I joined this site as a way to interact with those who are far more accustomed to this lifestyle, in hopes of receiving positive reinforcement.

I'm used to him being gone 30-45 days at a time. However, this assignment could last up to a year or so.

Luckily he's only 8 hours away so I can take roadtrips when the kids are with their father for the week.
