You just sprinkle it on and then vacuum it off right? I have the Arm & Hammer kind with oxyclean...it makes it smell good but it doesn't clean it.

Well it doesn't "clean" the carpet basically it just makes the carpet smell good. I use the Arm & Hammer for pets about once a month it helps freshen up the carpet and makes the house smell pretty good!
