Protein Shake

Do any of you take protein shakes after working out? DB told me about some kinda protein shake he takes after working out, and I wondered why I never take protein shakes after working out.

I do. I take AMP Protein (cookies and cream is awesome).

Make sure you get something for women. You don't want to take anything made for men because it affects women differently than women!

I don't think I could force myself to take anything after working out. Protein shakes taste terrible (especially the good ones that work well)

Yes, I get it from GNC...it's pretty expensive...but that's because I steal it from Jon. He never skimps on anything.

Walmart makes a decent Protein too.

Ah... I can't decide if I want protein shakes yet. Maybe if I do the 30 day shred for 30 consecutive days, I'd buy it for myself as a reward.

I wouldn't buy them unless you're being real strenuous... You're pretty tiny...I don't know if you need them.

Good point. I could get a slimming protein shake instead?

I did the Slimfast for a while. I had one for breakfast (to get the protein/fiber/etc. because my diet sucks). It didn't really do anything for me...

Okay, I'm not in a hurry to get a protein shake... don't even know if I want one, thank you for the feedback! My roomie did Slimfast and she said that only the chocolate tasted good in the can/glass I don't remember.

Chocolate in can DELICIOUS!? I don't think so I thought they were ...pretty not tasty. They weren't the worst tasting thing...but I would NOT describe them as DELICIOUS!?!
