I'm such a sucker.
For the past couple weeks, whenever I leave daycare, Wesson notices and starts SOBBING.
Make it stop!
Today sucked because I know he was still rebounding from the ear infections and just wanted to cuddle with me but I had to go... I felt so bad.
He's got me sooooo wrapped around his finger.

Aw That is always the worst. Reese was the same way but then after I left he was just fine (at least thats what they told me). It got to me several times. Made me feel like the bad guy.

That's how I feel.
He was crying when I left today. Even after the teacher picked him up, I could hear him crying.
I hate it. This is crap! This is the stuff that Jon never sees!

Yep. John never got to witness that stuff either. I just had to tell him about it. Which never affected him

Re: I'm such a sucker.
Nope. Jerks.
On the bright side, when Jon comes back this time, I'll be better prepared.
A) I have married a 4th child that has jealousy about who gets more time, him or Wesson. I can better understand and deal with it now that I understand the issue.
B) Make Jon follow MY schedule with Wesson. NO CUDDLING AT BEDTIME.
C) Find better tactics to explain that "parenting isn't easy".

Re: I'm such a sucker.
When one of his arguments was..."You always give Wesson a kiss right when you come home and you don't even bother with me until long after you're home..." I wanted to whack him with my purse. It was then that I realized...I am slave to EVERYONE.
Re: I'm such a sucker.
John is the same way. John gives Reese love but he forgets about me Its okay though I don't mind.

Re: I'm such a sucker.
You don't mind but my Jon does. He gets huffy and puffy. "But...but...WHAT ABOUT ME?!"
Re: I'm such a sucker.
don't worry he will get over it once he gets used to being daddy. He is still used to it just being you and him and not Wesson.
My John was the same way at one point.

Re: I'm such a sucker.
Yep. We got into a minor argument a few days ago and I told him I would have another baby just to leave him for 7 months to know what it feels like.
I was bitter that day.

Re: I'm such a sucker.
Haha sounds like it!
They just don't understand what its like. I always tell John "I'll deploy/go on field op/etc if you stay home and take care of Reese/house/vehicles/etc."
Of course now Reese is easy to deal with so I don't say that anymore but when he was a infant I did

Re: I'm such a sucker.
I'll give him some credit though. He said it's been 21 days since the guys have showered.
I bit my lip when I recalled him going..."No, I don't need to take the baby wipes." I kept saying..."TAKE THEM!" but he refused...
Should've listened to the wife.

Re: I'm such a sucker.
21 days is nothing...John went something like 4 MONTHS without a shower! BLAAAAH I can just imagine this HUGE stink cloud hovering over the Marines....you know...where you can smell them coming BEFORE you SEE them!

Re: I'm such a sucker.
OMG josh's boot feet. Seriously! The worst part is his immunity to his boot feet he doesn't understand even the twins make a face when daddy's shoes come off! Thats okay when he visited I taught the girls to put their hand together and get in face and in a pouty face say "Daddy mees" (please in twin language)....he just looked at me and you could tell he was cussing in his head at me because you just can't turn those faces down....lol
