Texas Man faked his way into Army

I read this story this morning when I got to work . . .

Stupid Texas. I am still bitter about Texas this weekend though.

Wow. That is crazy. I hate people who dress up in military garb claiming to be something they are not.

That just marks you as a huge fat looser.

We just kicked an old man out of the Legion who was lying and collecting benefits . . . It happens more then you think.

Same thing is happening in AR with a guy from the VA. But he really WAS in the military but they seem to have lost his enlistment papers...its really sad.

Oh wow! What do they do about it then?

I don't know We went and took pictures with the Commander of the VA (he was supporting my mom in the campaign. Thats when I found out about it because the guys picture was on the wall...he was also a member of the Purple Heart (Association...or whatever the thing is called )

The other people kicked him out and don't believe him and are trying to strip him of his benefits and saying he stole valor.

The Commander of the VA says he thinks he really was in the military and is trying to help him find paper work and such. Its really sad.

That is really sad! I do a lot with the people at the VA working with the Legion . . . you should hear some of these stories!

I know. Thats one of my moms main platforms is to give the Veterans what they deserve.

That's horrible. And I agree. The Vets need more. The VA sucks. Everything about it sucks.

I wish I worked less hours during the week. I'd love to volunteer.

We are doing a Bingo night June 3rd LOL
We make cookies and bring milk and snacks!

I just want to hang around and talk to some of the old folks.

I bet they'd get a kick out of Wesson too.
