Furniture

So the plan when I got out was I was going to live in MN and DH was going to geo-bach it. So we got rid of all of our furniture. Now we need it. So I went and ordered nice stuff. This is the first time we have ever been able to afford something better than crap-ola. Of course, none of it is in yet, so we have an empty house, and when it does ever come in I will have to go to MN to pick it up. Awesome. On a good note, the stuff we ordered is so nice. Yay me.

Our table I can't find, but is an Amish made oak Mission style with a dark stain. It is super pretty. I just ordered a bench to go with it today.

Warm colors in the living room?

They will be. My dear husband is painting right now actually. The top is taupe and the bottom is kind of a dark green-brown color. He is putting up a white chair rail in between the 2 colors. I know it is a lot of work, but we will be in that house for at least 3 years, more if I get a job at the VA, because then we can stay there in the same house. Then I am not rushed to finish school. It would be pretty freaking sweet.

Yeah that would be nice! I was just talking to the girl in my office about starting an interior decorating business on the side LOL

I love decorating, but I don't think I could ever do it for somebody else. I like what I like, and it's kind of a mix of lots of styles. I don't think other people like how I decorate, especially my husband.

LOL yeah mine doesn't like it either . . . I'm too girlie!

I like old stuff. He says it's all broken crap.
