My grandma, a ghost?!?!? - UPDATE!!!!!

So there is something odd going on with Mackenzie. For the past week or so she has started talking about her grandma.... now keep in mind that she calls my mom, Mammie, and Kenny's mom, DoeDoe, so she has never used the word grandma in association with anyone.....

All of a sudden lately she has been talking about seeing her grandma.... last week, on two separate occasions, she ran into her playroom and kissed the air and told me she was kissing her grandma goodbye!

Last night we went over to my mom's house and I was telling them about this.... so my mom grabbed a picture frame of old family members including her mother, (my grandma) and asked Mackenzie if her grandma was in the picture and she pointed to my grandma!!!!!!

Is that not the freakiest thing you have ever heard?!?!?!?!?

So long story short..... I think that either my grandma is Mackenzie's angel! or she has decided to haunt me!

I have to admit I'm a little freaked out by all this but at least it's my grandma and not some crazy dead person that was out for vengeance or something.

Wow! Gave me goose bumps! That is crazy...they DO say that kids can see things that adults can't though! So maybe so! Nifty...I do agree at least it isn't some weird crazy dead person!

I mean it is soooooo strange to me! that it is just out of the blue.... and she'll be in bed saying she misses her grandma or she wants to see her grandma..... or where is grandma? and I'll say Mammie? or DoeDoe? and she'll say "no, my grandma" so this grandma is obviously someone different that she is seeing somewhere! I mean it is giving me the creeps!

That's cool. And creepy. But mostly cool.

LOL I remember my brother used to say stuff like this when we were younger. He is 5 years younger then I am and when my grandma died he was about 4 maybe 5. Every time we would get a thunderstorm he would say that "grandma was in his way of watching tv"

Who knows.

When I was 5 my uncle died, and I used to tell my mom all the time that he was there with me.

UPDATE! So last night we were in the grocery store and walked by a little old lady with a VERY similar hairstyle to how my grandma used to wear hers..... and Mackenzie said, "mommy, she looks like my grandma! Is she my grandma?"



Ya'll..... her current grandparents have longer dark hair..... neither one looks like an old lady!!!

I really think she is seeing my grandma!

How old is she?
They say kids don't have "filters" at a young age, so they see things that adults might see but not even register as being there!

She will be 3 in October

Nope not yet...... she keeps talking about her, but this weekend she actually said, "I miss my grandma" and cried a little.... so I don't think she has seen her recently.

That is so odd . . .
I think I would be creeped out haha
