It is different now than it was for me. We used to run out on the grinder, but now they PT inside on the track. Some days they just PT in the ship and do jumpimg jacks and crap. Seriously, it's not that bad. I think AF does the bike even.

I would probably join the AF or Navy.. Not sure what I'd do.

AF has way better duty stations. Navy it really depends on your rate (MOS).

Navy...depends on what you want to do Computers? Admin? Legal? Healthcare? I would guess AF has all of those too.

As long as you don't do anything stupid they won't yell at you. The only time I got yelled at was because my RDC thought I was with the wrong division. 6 weekd in and she still had no idea who I was.

I don't know which branch. I talked to Wes about it last night and he laughed at me.

That's not very nice. Sit him down and tell him you are serious. By the time you would get done with boot camp and school, he should be done with school if he is going for EMT. Then he could a get a job wherever you guys would go. You would get college credit for some of what you would do too, then you could always take classes while you were in, then use your GI Bill when you get out. Do it now while you are young and before you have kids.

I would probably do something like Diet Therapy or Personnel Apprentice in the AF. I haven't looked into Navy yet.

And something in food and lodging in the Navy.

I don't think the Navy has a Diet Therapy...probably just a corpsman. Is it making food or planning it? Making would be a culinary specialist (CS), but I wouldn't reccomend that. Personnelmen (PN) would be that Navy equivalent to the other I think. It used to be Yeoman (YN), but I think they are getting away from that.

or arts and photography. What do you think of those?!

Office and Admin Support. I would be a paper pusher.

HR wouldn't be bad. Photographers deploy a ton and have to go out lots. Our friend who was a photographer was always outside the wire.
