My brain hurts. It's one of those work days where you work like CRAZY but you get nothing done.

I think my brain was falling out on the paper last night as I was studying. I woke up this morning running problems through my head, but I think I figured out how to do one I was stuck on last night.

I wish I would have had the patience to go to school and get a degree like yours! Unfortunately...I umm...hate math and all that stuff!

You know, I actually hate math classes higher up math, theoretical bull shit makes my head spin. But I can do the regular math, algebra, calc, stuff like that that actually has a use, like calculating stuffs. I don't think it's smart, it's just... I don't know determination, lol.

I was thinking about going back to school...but I struggled SO MUCH with basic college math. Like...when you throw all those letters with numbers... Wow. Lost. Letters don't belong with numbers!!!

I don't know...I was looking at a few program curriculums and saw all the math and I couldn't click fast enough out of the screen.

I can do trig (oddly enough), basic algebra...

And I do hydraulic calculations all the time with my projects and single-handedly understand them. Go figure.

All I do is letters. There are times that I have had to solve an entire problem without a single number. Of course that makes calculations easier as I see it cause there are no calculations, just manipulations.

Letters. How is it a problem with just letters?!

You're just making up formulas then!

Like, for example, the one that came to me this morning gives it as a rectangle with length, L, width, W, and area A, find blah, blah blah. You use formulas to manipulate the letters to give you what you want, but you use the letters in the same way you would numbers. It's done a lot in engineering because you can then apply that to many problems with similar situations, but different values, so it's plug and chug.

hmmmm.

That kinda sounds easy. I can manipulate...I can't calculate.

I my calculator for calculating, haha. Chris makes fun of me because I have done all this math, but I can't do simple stuff in my head, lol.
