Night Shift Sucks!

Okay, so I have absolutely nothing to complain about.... Kenny was overseas for 10 months and I got along just fine.... but I freakin' hate night shift!

So DH is a cop now, and he works 4 days on 4 days off 4 nights on 4 nights off. Something about the night shift that just really irks me.... I can't sleep, Mackenzie seems to be more active and all crazy like when he is gone, and I just get sooooooo tired.

Not to mention that he sleeps during the day and I can't do ANYTHING in the house without worrying we'll wake him.... I can't clean, I can't play with Mackenzie.... ugh it just sucks! BOOOO!

Guess this should have been in venting.... but anywho.....

Just wanted to complain for a little bit! Okay I feel better now.

I agree that would suck. I'm sure you'll fall into a routine at some point though.

I switched it for you.

&& I'm sorry, I wouldn't like the night shift either. It throws everthing and everyone off whack. I hated when my dad used to work nights.

Oh I'm already in a routine.... been doing this for a year..... but it still stinks!

See this is light into what it might be like when DH gets out of the Marines. He is wanting to do state trooper....and I am sure there will be a few (alot) of night shifts for him...boo.

Yeah they kind of SUCK ASS! I mean you rarely get to see them.... because he works 12 hour shifts.... so he is either sleeping or working.... but you know after being military it is kind of the ideal job.... because as the spouse you are already used to not seeing them as much!

That is true...I am so used to John being gone it hardly phases me anymore
