Johns cousin (more like brother they grew up with each other live in the same neighbor hood and all that jazz) is coming up from Beaufort, SC. He is a Marine as well and I am going to take pictures of them together. Where should I take pictures of them...Outside my house isn't really that pretty...not any good places to take pictures of them.

OOOOH OOOOOH lol
What kind of pictures do you want?
Are they going to be in uniform?
What are you wanting to "go for"?

I'm not sure about the area you are located, but you might want to try looking up a local American Legion post or something. Usually they have memorials/flags and stuff outside that give a very "patriotic" setting.

Sometimes they are weird about wearing uniforms anywhere . . .
(another thing I am not really sure about)
I was under the assumption they were not "allowed" to wear uniforms out in public without a specific reason?

Eh' They can wear them..its just most Marines won't wear them unless it is a special occasion.

My husband is especially weird about his uniforms. He's really picky about how they look and where he wears them.

He said "why can't we just walk out in the woods and take pictures" mumble

Haha, yeah Chris is not real keen on putting on his dress uniform either. I have had to beg him and told him he had no other option but to wear his uniform to my graduation. He better do it or I'll kick his little behind.

Do you have a flag at your house? Maybe just in front of the flag?

I would go around to a few different places. Take pictures of them in dress blues along with regular clothes, maybe BDUs (did I get that right? The camo?). I would take them to a park, some place like the American Leigon or War Memorial (something patriotic), walk through the woods. I used to make Chris model for me all the time.

Well the people that live next door dumped trash out in the woods...so when you take a picture any where in the back yard you see the trash..maybe we will just walk farther back in the woods..I know I won't get him to leave the house.
