Hooooooooly batman.

I just caught my first episode, I've always missed it...it's a season finale tonight or something so they're running all the episodes.

Wow. And...no thanks.

I think the show is good. I personally would NEVER want to be a part of that though.

I can't stand that show.. I got pretty pissed last time I watched it because she said "well how would you feel if I was dating another guy" and he replied back something like "I would be disgusted...that is just ungodly!"

Okay..you have three wives and your dating another girl and that is godly!?

It's the oddest show...and what man would want to deal with 3/4 etc women! Crazy.

i watched the series premier and after about 10 minutes i had to turn it off...that guy just seems like such a weirdo to me

Watched the last two episodes before work this morning.

Although tell me it wouldn't be nice to pass the husband off when you don't want to deal with him

They do. The first wife is convinced she's going to die and has to have these wives raise her daughter.

I just couldn't do that. I can't share. What's mine is mine. That's MINE. I mean...the bedroom...that's just...gross. How do you sleep with the guy when you know he was boinking your sister wife last night in the next room over?!

That entire show is bizarre.

What makes me irate is that the same people that think the Duggars are a bad show LOVE this one.

There's like 16 kids, a couple moms, and it's alllllll fucked up.

It also seems like they stay individual families, no?

I couldn't fully tell but it looked like they had their own wings to the house. I know for sure I saw 2 kitchens... The new broad Robyn gets her own house.

They have like three living areas and then I think one common area.
Robyn then lives like a block away.

the whole thing is just creepy! and im surprised that they put something on the air like this/ the polygamist(and people on the show) are willing to do this. i thought they liked to be private ?

I thought so too. I don't pay attention because, well, I'm not into that stuff but from what I know, polygamy is definitely illegal. When watchamacallit was giving birth, none of the other wives could be there because it would then be made public that it's a polygamist family and the guy would get arrested.

I learned way too much last night.

I agree that they have self-esteem issues of some sort.

I heard there is HUGE anger going toward the family (and children) from others like them, because most of them don't want to be seen.

I would imagine not. Look at us judging just the one family.

Not to mention, you know they only show half the drama on TV.
They probably all hate each other.

I am the odd one out here. I don't think it is that bad. What's the difference between this man, who takes care of all of his wives and children, and a man who has a mistress with children? At least in this case they are all consenting adults, and he is an active parent to his children.

He works in advertising apparently.

Not that I would live that life, but I seriously don't see anything wrong with it. The kids are raised with Christian values, have money for school, he must be doing something right that he makes that much money, the wives (with the excpetion of the 4th) seem to get along, they help each other...I dunno. I see more of the postive aspects than the negative.

I want that job.

I dunno. It's just...odd. How do you have any real intimacy when you've got 4 wives!

I'd feel awkward if I was bent over the oven and my husband cracked my ass as a joke and my 3 other sister wives were there.

I'm with you Liz. I think if that is what they want then whatever floats your boat...what I didn't like is that it was okay for HIM to have 4 wives but when she brought up the fact about her having a boyfriend and how he would feel he just was in shock and it was "ungodly!"

Meh...I guess they just get used to it.

I think it would be great....I wouldn't get bugged for "alone time" as much.
