Sandwich Shop Empty Sandwich Shop

Post by Tate Mon Dec 13, 2010 11:09 am

Has decided that in my future I am going to open a sandwich shop in our hometown downtown square.

Already have a building (my parents own it). I can see costumers sitting next to the window looking out at the river and others sitting out on the patio.

One day...one day. lol John and I decided it would be called " Reese's "

Nice! I love mom and pop deli shops.

Good old-fashioned cold-cut turkey sandwiches. Drool

Yeah the triple decker kind.

(Starting from the bottom)
Bread, Turkey, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo, Cheese, Bread, Turkey, Lettuce, Tomato, Mayo, Cheese, Bread!

(Although for me I don't like lettuce and tomato lol)

Then of course we'd always have soup. Chili, Potato, Broccoli & Cheese, Vegetable Beef....Yum.

We'd also serve Black River Walnut Cake. OMG so good! Plus we over look the Black River so its only fitting. (A restaurant that went out of business (never paid their taxes and the owner committed suicide) used to serve it) They put out a cook book before they closed with the recipe for it and its so yummy!

In the old downtown. I think it is called Church St. Deli or something like that. The Irish pub is connected to it. We used to go there every weekend. They have tons of different sandwiches.

It's really little, but I like it. They have coffee and ice cream too. Mmmm.

I love little places like that. I'm not a really into chain stores or big restaurants. If I have the choice I pick locally owned establishments.
