Hmmmm, not odd...but I can't do soup with Wesson. I make a stir fry so that's a little close to your potatoes/rice surprise. Hmmmmmm

You don't get the premade doughs? What's a good sauce? Just a small can of tomato sauce or?
Re: I need more quick/easy dinner ideas!
Nope I mix the dough myself. I buy great value sauce and great value dough mix.

Chef Boyardee has a pizza maker box. It contains the mix for the dough, the tomato paste/sauce, and cheese. It cost $2+ on discount. I think it's a new product, I found it in Target on Mon. It only comes in cheese flavor though, but I'm sure you can add your own toppings.

I didn't think about tacos! Those are super quick and good as leftovers for lunch the next day!

The taco dish goes like this:
ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 can tomato sauce (small can)
shredded cheddar/ or mexican cheese
1 can of crescent rolls
1 cup of sour cream
In pan, brown ground beef.... then add tomato sauce and taco seasoning... mix well. Pour into casserole dish. Spread one cup of sour cream over mixture, top with a layer of shredded cheese. Then unroll crescent rolls and cover entire casserole with thin layer of unbaked rolls.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes at 350, then remove foil and bake until crescent rolls are lightly browned and flaky.
It's really good for leftovers too.... so you could easily bake it the night before then just reheat.

LaDonna, your recipe sounds dangerously yummy and usually I don't even like tacos.
