Valentine's care package Empty Valentine's care package

Post by jnavywife Wed Jan 13, 2010 12:11 am

I am a HUGE dork and ridiculously excited for this box. Today I went to Michaels and got some red paper, silver paper, vellum overlays, foam sticky hearts (which I plan on filling with lovey-dovey crap, lol) and Valentine's stickers. Now I need to get some other lovey stuff to fill it, I'm thinking a box of the chocolates in the heart shaped boxes, homemade decorated cookies, some other random cutesy stuff that I find. I love doing this. lol I'll post pics when I finish putting it together. I'm just so excited! jump4joy

YES! And get him one of those candy bras! They look like the little candy necklaces...but in bra-form. I bet he'd have a blast with that. ROFL

I think I'm going to write that stuff on the foam hearts I bought, hehe. And I think the box is going to be mostly edible stuff, but not the sexy kind, I'm mean like that. It's going to be all lovey-dovey crap. Valentine's care package 213115

So glad to hear others are excited about Valentine's Day already...not just me.

I have several ideas that I am currently making for my sweetie.

I made him a personal CD of 20 love songs with it's own custom front & back cover. Looks like one you might find in a store.

I've written him every day that he's been gone (except for the days I saw him when he visited for Christmas or I visited him for the wknd, oh plus 2 days I missed) - a total of 53 letters. Each and every letter I've written a creative opening to each and every letter. He asked me one day "how many ways can you start a letter?" So...I thought that I would take some cutesy pieces of paper and write each and every opening on a piece of paper and put them in a box. Then, if he gets down or misses me he can see what all he is to me.

I'm also make a "What I Like About You"....365 Things I Like About YOU...a numbered flip book - similiar to the rip a page off calendars.

And I'll probably throw some red hots in there for fun. Maybe some starbucks since he likes it so much.
