Ya. Sort of.

Jon changed his mind. Since he can't have his acre of land in the country (my commute is too damn long), he's ok wherever in Clayton.

The problem is, I spent WEEKS narrowing down homes for HIS ASS.

So now we're back to square one. Sort of.

lol i'm sure you will find something eventually.
Plus you will all fit in the apartment until you do, even if it takes longer then you thought.

Well thats the thing with houses...you usually have to give up something...be it the umber of rooms, the size of this or that...but the LOCATION is the most important.

At least you have a different area to look at now! This will be a good thing!

It's always been Clayton, we're just looking northeast instead of south. It's too much of a commute on 40 for me with evening traffic.

Most of the houses I saw that I liked were in the north part.
They had city sewer up there

It's a GREAT house...but the traffic on 42 to get to I-40 in the morning is HORRENDOUS. Plus, the subdivision is RIGHT before the elementary school...that's going to be a hellacious traffic nightmare.

Jon is the kind of guy that wishes he could live like Grizzly Adams.

HOWEVER.

When we have the type of home we have now...(luxurious...) he brags about it to EVERYONE.

It's really now a factor of what I want. I have the good taste.

My husband is the same way. He keeps trying to convince me to move to Alaska to "live off the grid."

Jeannette, remember it's always a factor of what YOU want because at the end of the day it's your house and Jon just lives there.
