Alternating Shred and Running Empty Alternating Shred and Running

So I am training for a 10k right now and am running 4 days a week, walking the other 3. So I was thinking instead of walking those days I will start doing Shred. Think doing it 3 days a week is ok? I am not expecting huge results, I just am getting tired of only treadmill work!

I don't think it would be bad as long as its not going to bulk you up. I definitely agree on needing the change in your training though.

I did it today and I felt like after I got done doing Shred I needed to go on the treadmill for a while. It only burns like 175 calories. My runs burn around 500. So that is lame. Don't know what I will do. Boo.

Ripped in 30 is supposed to be a step up from the Shred!

Maybe try Level 2 or 3?

I looked at that one at the store, but bought regular Shred because I honestly couldn't remember how hard it was and I didn't want to kill myself. I should have got that one though. It is 45 minutes versus the regular one of 25.
